Rookie of the Year

Post by MidnightHurricane »

after 132 games the National League Rookie of the Year race is close

Hersh Bayne Arizona 116 games .260 ave 9 homers 58 rbis 0 stolen bases .702 ops
Taylor Weston San Fran 116 games .271 ave 20 homers 66 rbis 17 stolen bases .804 ops
Trey Rogalski LA Smog 127 games .222 ave 17 homers 70 rbis 17 stolen bases .626 ops

i am writing this because i believe my guy Taylor Weston ( named after my brother lol ) should be leading the voting right now, but he isn't. Come on voters pick the right guy, one month left in the season .. GOOOO Taylor lol

oh by the way, my team is playing terrible this season, so Rookie of the Year race is the best i got to cheer for :ugeek:

From the Game Guide (which indicates the ROY votes are the same formula as All Star votes, except for pitchers):
For position players, all star votes are calculated using this formula: RBIs + Total Bases + Runs + Walks + SBs - (SO *.25) - (CS * 2) - Errors - (AB / 8)
So there's your trouble. HR are not factored into it (except at total bases).

But good luck, man!
