Trade Complaint

Post by Admin »

There has been an abuse report on a recent trade:
Trade #1536346 has been completed between the Texas Vaqueros and the Chicago Hot Dogs. The Chicago Hot Dogs receive Otto Blanchard, Eric Kavanagh, Kelly Ponder from the Texas Vaqueros in exchange for Draft Pick - 2084 Round 1 (CHA).

If 3 complaints are not received in the next 72 hours, the matter will be considered closed. To lodge a complaint, please visit http://www.simdynasty.com/tradevote.jsp?tradeid=1536346&newsid=1072715939.

I ask that you refrain from discussing trades. Nothing positive ever comes from this. Anyone discussing any trades publicly may have their posting privileges revoked.

So if you feel this complaint is without merit, please simply vote to allow the trade to stand.

IMPORTANT: Please remember that not all trades are equal, and not all inequal trades should be overturned. A trade should only be overturned if there is bad faith on the part of one or both of the teams involved. If both teams get something they need out of the trade and neither party is taking advantage of an unaware trading partner, the trade should stand. Overturning a trade may not be used as a strategic option.

If either of the two owners involved in this deal would like to comment on the deal, please reply to this thread stating the facts or reasons for this trade without emotion or being argumentative.
To help us serve you better, please use the support system for all questions or problems. PMs should NEVER be used. The Support system is always read before PMs.

If either of the two owners involved in this deal would like to comment on the deal, please reply to this thread stating the facts or reasons for this trade without emotion or being argumentative.

Facts: Both owners have significant history in the league. Chicago is entering 102nd season. Texas entering 13th season. Neither is considered a rookie nor inexperienced regarding trades and/or management of teams. Two recent trades made between clubs involving 4 players for 2 draft picks. All four players received by Chicago have been placed as starters on that team - upgrade over current roster. Discussions between two clubs were to 1) trade quality veterans to Chicago to upgrade current roster, and 2) trade draft picks to Texas (team without 1st/2nd rounders for several years due to other trades). Both teams seemed to have achieved their goal.

Doesnt really matter to much what you did afterwards You got one or two players whom were on waivers when the deal was struck And you gave a 1 for thoes players What you did after isnt really considered The trade you made afterwards was a value trade This one really wasnt but its OK its really on the traders that should determine the value You wanna trade your 1 for three older guys some whom were on waivers thats fine. Your second trade was a good one for both as it was the value for the P That Minn team had 5 ones in the next two drafts combined it looks like so he had the depth to trade those picks so he too made a value trade. No big deal
