Hi Fran - I just tried to do this in the AOL. I picked up the available NY team as a chaperone and then tried to purchase it. I set up a subscription in PayPal (click the 'owner' tab and then 'renewal' and then follow the instructions). It is still listed for sale, though, so I logged a help ticket.

Another way to do this would be to drop the team ('owner' tab, 'chaperone', 'Drop this team') and then buy it (CLICK HERE, then scroll down to find your team and click 'Buy this Team', then follow directions)

So i just learned there is a glitch in the chaperone to owner conversion. If you purchase the team the first way in mentioned above, you will need to log a help ticket and let admin know. They will need to manually take the team off the 'for sale' page.
