CLIFF ROLISON AND LESLIE GRACE TWO HALL OF FAME WORTHY KEY PLAYERS FOR ME OVER THE YEARS. CLIFF WAS MY BEST CLOSER AND MAYBE BEST PITCHER IVE EVER HAD AND LEAGUE LEADER IN SAVES, A RECORD THAT WILL BE REALLY HARD TO BEAT. HE HAD A STRETCH OF DOMINANT SEASONS WITH MID 1.00 ERA AND HAD AN AMAZING POSTSEASON SAVE RATE. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ANOTHER PLAYER LIKE HIM OF HIS CALIBER. GRACE HAD MOST OF HIS AMAZING SEASONS TO START HIS CAREER IN TEXAS AND IT WAS KEY AS TX WAS ENDING THEIR RUN TO TRADE FOR HIM. ONCE I GOT HIM HE WAS MY ROCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ORDER FOR ALONG TIME. ALTHOUGH HE HAS NO MAGIC NUMBERS.... HE IS REALLY REALLY CLOSE IN A COUPLE OF HUGE CATEGORIES (ALMOST A 400 HR 400SB PLAYER HAS CLOSE RO 3000 HITS AND HAS MANY GOLD GLOVES. HE WAS OR SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE MVP RUNNING MOST YEARS BECAUSE OF HIS ALL AROUND GREATNESS AND HE HAD A REALLY NICE CAREER AND ID LOVE TO HEAR SOME THOUGHTS ON THE HALL FOR HIM FROM SOME OTHERS AROUND THE LEAGUE.
OK GUYS GOOD LUCK THIS YEAR (EXCEPT AGAINST MY BOYS LOL)

Re: END OF AN ERA
Both of them are no question HOFers. Two legends who helped define the era. In fact, there were a few years there where MIN had only these 2 players as All Stars and still wound up in the playoffs.
Rolison’s record speaks for itself.
Grace was an all around star. Beyond his 11 all stars, ROY, 2 MVPs and 7 gold gloves were some impressive numbers. He appeared in 14 playoffs, making 10 LCS and winning 4 of 6 WS. In 677 AB in the postseason, he has an .802 OPS and 110 RBIs. He was a definite producer in the postseason. He also could be considered the greatest defensive SS and maybe one of the all time greats here of any position. His +254 and 1,420 DP have to be near the top of all time records.

Re: END OF AN ERA
So i wanted to see what you had to say... but reading all caps is so frickin' annoying that I just couldn't bring myself to read it.
I hope it's nothing important.
cheers.

U HAVE THOUGHTS ON GRACE 13?
Re: END OF AN ERA
Grace is good for me he's a borderline HOF'er which means I wouldn't put him in my HOF but he will go into the leagues HOF.

Re: END OF AN ERA
Bob I inducted your boy Grace into the Hall he gave a tear jerking speech about his love for the Texas owner he affectionately calls RB but no mention of anyone in the Minnesota franchise.

LOL I GOT NO HARD FEELINGS. WHAT WE HAD WAS PERSONAL. NO NEED TO SHOW THE PUBLIC THE DEPTH OF OUR AFFECTION....
