Your bullpen is thin. I'd say maybe move a starter down.

Every year I won a title in my last run I had a big bat injured for the playoffs. It's what abe does you either rest your players down the stretch or make sure you have an excellent bench. I always make sure I have a solid bench when competing.

Bad luck, but the Nielsen injury was probably avoidable. You pitched him 5 straight days, and on the 5th day he got hurt.

This too. Bundy did this all the time and complained about it.

Such a classic Bundy move. He'd blow out his elite closer's arm like twice a season like clockwork. How many times did we post about the reliever thing whenever he ranted about ABE screwing him? 3 or 4 times?

Yeah, I love owners complaining about closer injuries after a guy appears in his 100th game of the season like Bundy's.

congrats to mil.a good 7 game series. as far as the injuries go and how to use relievers, if you only 1, use him all you can. we won 106 games that way and we did not have an injury until 9-20. since then, 4 injuries for over 120 days. its simulated bullshit is what it is.

You were actually lucky he only got hurt once, considering Nielsen has D- health, and he pitched 5 days in a row 4 times during the season. Riding him all season was good strategy, but I may have adjusted my settings on how many bars to rest him (especially in September), so he didn't make quite so many consecutive appearances. He would've still pitched in about the same number of games, but not bunched up so much. Or you could've just rested him, since you had over a 10 game lead well into the last month. If I had such an important piece with D- health, and I have a big cushion in the standings, I'm resting him at some point in September.
