The Blaze minor league system once again finds itself with more prospects than it can successfully coach. Would like to deal as many as four for draft picks two years out or:

• red letter Mentor RP to replace Doc Browning; will swap 2 rookies if A overall talent and some shelf life left.

2b Mel Shoop (projects to A- overall w/B Range, B- Arm)
SS Luis Beard (projects to A- overall w/A- Range. A Arm)
LF Woodie Alston (major league ready!) **
LF Ralph Colbert (projects to high B+, w/A- Range. C Arm --> move to 1b)
CF John Brown (projects to major league bat w/a little CP love)


** would also not mind hanging onto this one for the inevitable injury to F Health LF Ken Batten.
