Why are we just releasing draft picks instead of trading them??
I have a claim on Tony Hersh since he was my pick, but Del Goldstein should have been traded to Anaheim

Personally, I always look at the draft year on a player before I check the "waive" box. If it's the current season and player was taken in Round 1 or Round 2, I hang onto him. Simple and easy enough to do, isn't it?

If you need to get him off your roster, it's a quick 3-step process.

1. Check Google Doc.
2. Go to Trade Desk.
3. Wait for other owner to accept.
