Review and Analysis
WBL Mid-Season - Year 2036[/color]

At the halfway mark, no real changes in the NL as Goliath still rules. However, the Cincinnati franchise sits 13 games back from the playoff chase and with some shrewd moves, the Bengals could sneak in. It’s doubtful yet with a .580 win % - if injuries hit Goliath, there is life for the Bengals (unlike the rest of the NL).

The AL is displaying another tight race and the WBL should expect a true grit all out battle for a post-season date with Goliath. Four teams are separated by 4 games. Leading the way are the vets of Washington who still carry the big guns to make the playoffs. The Hendersons’ experience shall be forthcoming come the last days. Boston leads in several offensive categories as a team. Then again, Seattle has a pitching staff to match NL’s Goliath tandem. The dark horse is Baltimore. A team who has surprised the AL but may bow out early due to not being as talented as the top 3 AL teams. The OG;s do get All-Star C L. Star Quest back which will help. Let's not leave out the New York Bobcats who are 9 back from 1st place with Oakland and Chicago still in the hunt.

Hitting is down slightly in the AL. Whereas Goliath continues to dominate the news cycle with its stats and super power teams. Only a massive amount of injuries will push one of them to the side … and still a difficult (but achievable) path to the post-season for Cincinnati.

2nd Half
In recent games, Montreal has taken a slight hit with All-Star Matt Forefyve out for July and parts of August. Plus, the Goliath is aging with some players not performing up to All-Star standards. The decline fr father-time? With the new Trade Block feature, it seems easier to be un-wavered to massive trade submittals for other teams star players. While it can make sense to replenish the minors (or majors), the NL has a pool of talented youth. A team like the LA Metal Gods are just one or two seasons away fr breaking the curse … well, it’s American to dream big, right?

The 2036 AL season will go down as one of the great races in the history of the WBL. The top three teams are pretty much even on paper. Head-to-Head: Baltimore is 15-21 vs. the top 3 … Washington is 18-18 vs. the chasers, Seattle is 17-16 vs. the chasers, and Boston is 19-14 vs. the chasers. What is most intriguing are the OG’s who are 2nd in team runs scored in the AL, but no individual players leading the AL in offensive categories. This AL race should be legendary.

Playoff Predictions
AL: Seattle vs. Boston (wc) – Winner Seattle
NL: Montreal vs. St. Louis (wc) – Winner Montreal
WBL Series winner Montreal

There is a couple of errors.

NL batting average leader has SEA not STL
NL pitching ERA second place Has SD not STL
St. Louis WHIP was not 1.29

Minor details that no one will care about, but wanted to let you know. Thanks for the write up. My predictions are Seattle vs Washington with Seattle making it to the big dance. Of course we know who will win it all so I will leave that unspoken.

Man was I tired ... but the numbers appear good fr what I saw on the leader board. Yes, the WHIP may had been missed ... but I do not think so knowing what it takes to get this done. Either way, u haven't beaten Montreal for the title in five seasons. Therefore, I went with the trend ...

Not discounting the work, just pointing out the small errors where you put the wrong team. It's not a big deal, but wanted to point it out. As for the playoff predictions I was simply putting mine out there and wasn't discounting yours.

If Cincinnati was in the AL we would be in the mix. The Goliath is so deep that I just have to keep developing and hope that others do as well to make the NL closer. I am not sure LANL is one or two years away but we all in the NL need to develop players and not worry about STL or Montreal's Vet sales.

I am going to rebuild soon so it will be up for grabs shortly. My rebuild time will depend on what is offered for the players. If I don't get anything of value then I will continue the run, but if I get something of value then I will start the rebuild. If anyone has any interest in ANY of the players let me know and we can eventually work something out. Every single player is available at some point.

Nice write up there Maze.
Cincinnati has to only catch 2nd place for now to make play-offs.Play-offs sometimes is a crap shoot with Abe at the controls.
