Anybody up for 9 gpd?

Post by bahstonwedsawks »

Anybody up for switching to 9 games per day? I'm really liking the 6 gpd as I think it provides the more active/engaged owners a better experience, but I think it will be even greater at 9 gpd. I've seen significant improvement with my team (not seen by the naked eye, but I keep an eye on out of the ordinary stuff that requires calculations that the game doesn't explicitly provide). I'm really surprised at the significant impact on my team going from 3 gpd to 6 gpd but I'm glad we did. Anyway, up for 9 gpd?

For me that is a no. I am still getting used to the 6 games per day.

I would hope that the league sticks with the 6gpd format for a while before even contemplating a move to 9gpd.

I like the 6 games as well. I forget sometimes about the games because I am still in the old 3 games per day mindset. I LOVE the 6 games per day format though. It makes my other league seem like a snail in comparison. I don't think I will EVER join another league unless it's 6 games per day or more. Just more bang for your buck and it's not too fast, but not too slow.

6gms/day alot better can really start to see minor league improvements taking place now.Less time in actual time for rebuilds.9gms/day is probably the right amount of games to play.

If you know a 9 GPD league where you can give up A+/C pitchers, 1st and 2nd round playoff picks in exchange for future A overall starting pitchers, let him know. He'll join it faster than you can say "trade reversed."

LOL. Nah, I'm a 1-team only kind of guy and my Montreal franchise is probably the strongest it has ever been so I'm sticking around indefinitely.

Translation: I'm not going anywhere. I have a nice setup. I get young studs for old declining players and waiver wire pickups.
