1st Overall
i have 2 assets that i will take offers on, but doubt i will trade away. i have a real bad team with very few assets and will take a long time to build a good team. i am looking for quantity and quality of pics and young prospects. the first asset i have is the first overall pic in this draft, the second asset is Buck Mabry. he has a hall of fame bat and a beer league glove. Please do not send offers that doesn't make sense for me

I took a look at him.
Actually, if moved to 3B, his glove will eventually be about average. He'll be very playable there.

I actually had him down in the minors but the previous guy promoted him early. Would’ve been nice if he stayed down and developed enough to start at C

Re: 1st Overall
for sure he is not a shortstop, but i kept him there because my team is a 40 win team, and it didn't matter .. stick him in the corners and he will be fine in a few seasons .. the special thing about him is he plays 161 games ( not sure why not 162 ) and last season hits plus walks he was on base 278 times .. i wish i could keep him on my team for his career, but i have no one to surround him with, and when i start having a good team he will be past his prime .. my rebuild timeline is 15 seasons .. ugh
Swope, he would look good in your lineup batting first or second in front of a row of bashers that you have

The more I look at him, the more I like him.
