Way off Trade???
I'm not one to object often, but this trade has me scratching my head.
7/13/2055
Trade #1556102 has been completed between the Washington Northern Aggression and the San Francisco Angels. The San Francisco Angels receive Brett Downing, Ozzie Kearns, Charley Mauck from the Washington Northern Aggression in exchange for Frank Valle, Draft Pick - 2058 Round 1 (SF).
I get that Downing and Kearns are rentals, but Mauck alone is worth more than a playoff 1st and a midling former 2R prospect. And perhaps I'm mistaken, but our change in minors got rid of CP trades didn't it?

Don't worry, I know what I'm doing.
CP trades are still allowed, but there was none involved in this trade.

I'd give Swope the benefit of the doubt here
And TBH, I don't think it's such a bad deal. It's not like everyone is swinging deals, it's usually pretty tough to get some people to trade in this league.

And if anyone doesn't think so--Swope in top ten in WS wins......plus at the rate
he is going--and Horse and Bundy slumping off--it will be my guess that he will( in
a year's time) overtake everyone................

Thanks fella's
And Frostee, I had no idea about the top 10 stuff. Wow. Humbling.
Though it may actually say more about my social life than any real skill at this game lol

Re: Way off Trade???
I personally felt it was a good deal for both teams. IMO the new CP system increases the value of 1st rounders. The pitcher I got will be a debatable starter with the endurance and only 4 years left. The pitcher I gave him will be solid 3-5 starter of a WS team and allow him to continue focusing on other areas of his roster that are more impact towards total wins. He wasnt going to get anyone else to trade for the two rentals given current lack of trading.
If I didnt believe this was the deal that helps me compete now then I would have been the one to likely decline this offer if anything... AKA makes it probably a pretty good trade.

I felt that way too French.
I sent out quite a few offers, some didn't even get looked at. Looking right at you Frankie.
