I traded my #1 (which looks like 3rd pick) for Rads catcher--now I bet he is glad he made the trade
but the Chicago pick will definitely help me..........

This is one of those times where trading for future picks totally works out. Even playoff picks are huge in a class like this.

That's why I don't mind acquiring a lot of future 1st's, you never know.......

The catcher would probably be in the top 7 or 8, so it's not the worst move you could of made.

Yeah... liking the draft with three first round picks.. Need it desperately for the rebuild.

I find consistently that R1 picks are really more valuable in this larger league. You basically will get a starter in most drafts. R2 are crapshoots. As I look at playoff teams it’s rare to have any R2 hitters, usually only see R2 relievers.

Yeah the trade w Frostee was pretty fair. I expected top 3. Too bad it isn’t #1 but I’ll get a bonafide player. Amore Dubois will keep improving and I’m short a solid catcher w good health. But that’s life to compete!
