I know Todd’s.
Rich and I swore a blood oath when we met in December and sacrificed a Chai Vanilla Latte to the Siren, which has not proved useful to neither Rich nor I so @$#&#! Jobu!
I edited the post to be a bit more vague about the politics piece.

You think Dartman is worth one playoff first. But I gaurantee that you can not trade one first round pick for Dartman. Try it. He'll reject it in a heartbeat.

The next time you have a prospect with these characteristics:

OS22 starting pitcher
B overall
B control
converting 25%

Send me an offer where I give you two playoff first rounders for him, and I will gladly accept.

Do you not expect a 22OS (was) B- pitcher to convert 20-25%?

My head hurts.

Nuzzy won the trade ... big time.

Philly got younger, but less talented.

It's a game.

I feel bad knowing the trade offer was made to LA by Philly. Perhaps there was no way I could have met Phillys needs, but I would have loved to have tried. I tried to trade for Guice and was told he was not available.

Not whining, I understand how this stuff works. Both experienced managers doing what they think is best for their team. Nuzzy said initially he was only 90% sure he would accept the trade. As a team competing for the playoffs, I would've sprainef multiple body parts in the moment as I rushed to accept that trade.

It's a game.

Somehow Brooklyn remains in the hunt for 2nd place. ABE is being very benign.

It's a game...

So This Guy was a 22 year old SP (with better endurance) last year who converted close to 33% of his IC chances and was on the border of B overall then.

Are you saying he’s worth a playoff first right now? Almost two?

(I got him off the WW after frostee and Caddy both had cut him.)

There's a gap in value between the guy you got off the WW and Dartman. He's a year younger, and hasn't missed out an half a seasons worth of ICs.

Same as there's a difference between an OS18 C overall and an OS19 C overall player.

I do not. I wish they all did, but they straight up bust or convert closer to 10% all the time.

You’re going to make me check the random 22OS B- pitchers for their conversion rate, aren’t you?

The one I linked did 33%.

If your 22 year old is worth two playoff firsts, my guy is worth a single one then?
