Detroit vs Florida

Post by todd999430 »

It’s been over a decade since Detroit made the playoffs... one of the longest streaks of impotence in Detroit’s storied TWL history.

And speaking of impotence, we are facing Swope in the World Series. I’m guessing that there’s a NC-17 attendance rating for those joining us live tomorrow.

In a bit of uniqueness, Florida and Detroit made a trade earlier this season. Florida grabbed two second tier RPs to bolster their bullpen for one last run. I’m guessing they’re rebuilding this OS as they try to get a bit younger (just how Swope likes them).

Good luck everyone (except Swope) tomorrow.

Impotence? Don't they have pills for that now?

Not that I would know.

Good luck to everybody not named Todd tomorrow lol

Also, don't forget the time we almost swapped Bill Green and Luis Standridge.

Our sexual past runs deep. Pun intended.

And Gene Urban, traded to Florida by Detroit at the start of the season, ends up giving up the two run double in the bottom of the ninth with two outs, down 1-0.... Detroit takes the series on that seventh game 2-1 win.

Wow.

Had to have been paid off.

Congrats on the win buddy. That was quite the series.

Assumed you had it after game five.

When the extra innings game fell in my favor. Felt good.

Then just sadness to lose on a 1-0 score based on a first inning lead off walk.

Only to see my spy, I mean, former pitcher give up two runs for the Detroit win.

Fun to follow.
