What a race in the AL...

Post by Frunobulax »

The Martians claim the AL East due to the head to head record vs. New York. Minnesota only one game behind.

Good luck to all teams in the playoffs!

Thanks.

I was sure I would finish 3rd place because of the 3 games at New York.
In the end we almost swept the series, New York left fielder threw out two runners at the plate in the 10th in game 162, that was what gave NY the 2nd position.

The Martians have 5 playoffs app (the last 2 seasons in the BBL and the first 3 in the CDL) and 0 playoff series win. I hope our luck changes.
Good luck all!

Some really nice records in the NL too. Pretty sure there will be no easy road to the CDL championship!

Just got back from travel (again) to see the regular season ended. Wow, what a finish! And what happened to Cleveland? Congrats to Washington on their late run to go along with Cleveland's collapse. I do think the playoffs are wide open. Lots of very good teams - 6 of the 8 have over 100 wins. Let's see how it works out. If I can get through the AL I will have my best hitter fully back for the WS - yum.
