and top five by three games; no need to leave out the Nationals in 5th place! Crazy mediocre...

With only 9 games left in the season the NL East have 5 contenders for the division championship and the playoffs. The so called lowly Nationals, in 5th place, are only 3 behind the lofty first place teams.

This is going to be an exciting finish. May the best teams achieve the glory they deserve.
