World Series

After losing game 1, the Shadows swept the next 4 games vs DET to win their first WS in 62 years! After hitting 16 HR in 6 games in the NLCS, they added 11 more long balls in 5 WS games. It was a balanced attack with 8 different Shadows homering and they also pilfered 10 bases. DET leadoff hitter All-star 2B Bugs Abbott, who hit .349 in the regular season and .364 in the ALCS, was held to 2-22 with only 1 runs scored. Shadows SS Marsh Brown led the way with 5HR and 14 RBI in 11 postseason games.
