Playoffs against a team we had a regular season winng record. (14-10 overall, 7-5 both home/away)

Team/players voted five of nine AS starters, 4 reserve AS players

Top five players voted as AL MVP for the season, including (obviously) the MVP - Quinlan

Top three pitchers voted as AL CY Young, including (obviously) CY Young winner - Edwards

AL Fireman winner - Edwards

2nd place AL ROY - Brown

Ranked as # 1 Team in both hitting and pitching for the entire league, 2nd place in fielding %

So NATURALLY - ABE see fit to have us exit the playoffs in a four game sweep in the ALCS ...
