Despite a 3 homer game by Dan Bryden in game 2, the Youngstuds returned home and laid a giant egg, as they suddenly forgot how to steal bases, getting caught 9 times out of 11 attempts, Joe Hughes, after setting a new single season record of 71 stolen bases, was thrown out 4 times in the playoffs, and the bullpen again let this club down.
