Az-Balt Trade

Baltimores WHOLE draft class for a couple of over 30 guys? What does everybody else think?

Not so one-sided that it should be overturned. It is a terrible draft class.

Upon further consideration, I like the trade for both sides. Baltimore is aging so adding more veterans and a better chance at a title is worth a essentially a playoff first and a playoff second in a very weak draft class.

I agree with lgriffio. Baltimore's pitching staff is impressive. The hitters he got will help him compete for the next few seasons. Good trade for both teams.

From my point of view it was a no-brainer and I didn't even check where the picks were. We've had a lot of success recently and trading for youth was an easy gamble. Clark was an awesome backup for us and a much bigger part in our run than he gets credit for. I'd really like to see him do well in a starting role. KW
