Sooooo close to a perfect game...

Pete Lee of the Houston Apaches has thrown a no-hitter against the Chicago Wise Guys.

With two outs in the ninth, facing a pinch-hitter for the pitcher, Lee walks the pinch-hitter, thereby losing his bid for a perfect game!

He then proceeded to retire the next batter to preserve his first career no-hitter.
