There are only 7 guys that have reached that milestone in this league.
You don't realize how hard that is to reach.
500 HR
Re: 500 HR
HRs have always been low in this league. I don't know if it is the stadiums or if the pitching has been above average.

I had 3 guys reach that mark in the Tim Raines League. One of those guys hit the mark before we were able to modify stadiums. Another reached 400 before that time, then cruised to 530 over the final 5 years of his career. The other guy managed it because half of the other stadiums in the AL at that time were made small as their owners were rebuilding. I have not had any other player reach 500 in any other league. A few topped 450. One guy even retired a year earlier than I expected and finished with 478. 500 HR is a tough mountain to climb.
Re: 500 HR
I just had a guy get there in the Carlton Fisk League and looked around to see what was out there.
It is crazy less than 10 have reached the plateau.

Interesting point on the stadiums. I built my "default" preferred stadium here with typical dimensions. In just about every other league, this stadium is considered "large" in terms of the wall sum. It's also usually in the top 3-4 in terms of pitcher friendliness. Here it's just "average", and I wouldn't be surprised to see it ranked in the middle once my team is competitive enough to provide worthwhile stats for that.
