A bad sign

Because the playoffs are coming and it is Philadelphia's destiny and curse to be regular season heroes and then choke in the post-season... as we head into the season's last two weeks, the Philadelphia Chaos are on amazing 27-3 tear!!

This of course will mean either that five starters will come up lame in the last week of the season, or that we'll finish with 118 wins and then get swept in the NLCS and not even sniff the World Series. It's been the best four year stretch in the 156 year history of the Chaos -- since the beginning of the 2103 season, this squad has won a ridiculous 431 games, going an insane 431-203 in that time frame. And yet we have no hardware to go with it -- a trend I have at this point come to fully expect and believe will continue.

Wishing good luck to Milwaukee and Brooklyn as they battle to be the team who knocks me off in the playoffs, or to the AL teams who will break Chaos fans' hearts in the Series if we get that far. Good luck in the home stretch, all !
