Pitchers Duel

Post by Steelsmith »

I am not sure who or whom the pitchers dueled with, but I am certain that they were all shot and they must have had fans or little leaguers come in to take their place. In the final game of the day between the Gold Sox and the Generals it was a 14-11 hit fest with 45 yes 45 hits. 8 players on the 2 teams had 3 or more hits. Dan Everitt went 6 for 8 with 7 rbi's, Kevin Kush went 5 for 7. The Gold Sox had 4 players with 3 hits each, there were also a total of 12 walks issued by the 2 teams, there was also 1 HBP, there were 25 Runs scored but there were still 29 men left on base total even though there were 5 double plays. The 13 inning game took 5 hours and 9 minutes.
