You know that you can both be mathematically correct, don't you?

I"M ONLY USING THESE NUMBERS TO DEMONSTRATE:

C+ health = 20 out of 1,000 chances of an injury happening (2%) - in a 162 game schedule, the player will likely be hurt once for some length of time from 5 to 50 games, and he will have to "rest" periodically to regain green energy, this mirrors the "day-to-day" nagging injuries without sending us a million notifications. For hitters, this means that C+ health equates to roughly 140 games per season.

F health = 40 out of 1,000 chances of an injury happening (4%) - DOUBLE from the baseline at C+ health. STILL HIGHLY UNLIKELY TO HAPPEN. There is a 95% chance of NO INJURY each game played.

A+ health = 10 out of 1,000 chance (1%) - HALF the chance from the baseline. Very, very unlikely to be injured, but can still happen.

However, the difference between A+ and F health is only 3% in baseline odds, which is still so slight as to be essentially random.

In other words, it matters (because it makes injuries exponentially more likely to occur) and it is still irrelevant because the odds of an injury are so astronomically small to begin with. At least with system 4, the baseline odds seem to be 10 TIMES higher than in basic leagues. It helps immensely.

Hamilton has identified the factor that those complaining about unrealistic injury levels for low health players tend to overlook- that they are already guaranteed to play fewer games (substantially fewer for F or D- guys) per season WITHOUT being injured, just because of the mandatory days off that are designed to mimic the 'nagging' injuries. the other thing that argues against injury levels that would equate to real life is that real mlb teams have a minor league system with (in practical terms) full AAA and AA teams from which to draw replacements. we have 15 guys. that simple fact, for me, is god reason to keep injures below real life levels.
