We all know these stats are puffed up. We'll just count the next best as the true champs.

On another note, the improves from this season will be crazy good :-)

Good point--I hadn't considered that would be another problem.

I don't consider the extra ICs a problem. We've had a lot of complaints about the bad drafts over the past few seasons so this will be a nice corrective action.

Am asking you'all to consider just calling this weeks season off. Start the 2408 season next Monday.

Not liking:
1) IC inflation, which is really good for teams in rebuild cause of all the youngsters that would benefit for the rest of the careers because of the IC spike
2) Inflated stats that will be around as long as the GPL plays ball
3) lack of opportunity to make transaction (DL, etc)
4) its just not baseball, lets get back to slow-steady

Personaly its no big deal to lose a week of playing Sim (we've already done Mon-Tue so 5 days of down time.

I'd support this (even as a rebuilding team lol).

Can we make an official poll with a time deadline, ideally before the playoffs finish

I'm rebuilding (declaring my interest) but I'd just rather keep moving forward.

Improves Current place
Texas 360 (8th)
Minnesota 332 (7th)
Boston 321 (11th)
Baltimore 313 (11th)
Chicago 308 (13th)
Seattle 289 (1st)
Pittsburg 282 (9th)
Cincy 260 (15th)
San Diego 260 (16th)
Chicago NL 256 (6th)
Houston 219 (4th)
Oakland 216 (13th)
Brooklyn 171 (5th)
New York NL 164 (2nd)
New York 159 (2nd)
St Louis 153 (10th)

As you can see it doesn't necessarily help the rebuilding teams or hurt the teams at the top. The two teams with the worst record are 8th and 9th in improves. Seattle, which has the best record is in front of them at 6th. Three of the top 8 teams are in the top 8 while 3 of the worst record teams are in the bottom 8.
