Lemongello Hurls Christmas No-Hitter

Mark Lemongello unfurled his first career no-hitter at age 34 on 8 strikeouts and 2 walks in an 11-0 Red Nuns victory over Montreal. The Atlanta veteran faced only 28 batters after erasing one of two Expos to reach base with a double play in the fifth inning. Jim Campbell led off the 7th with a walk for Montreal's only other baserunner. Lemongello is enjoying an All-Star campaign with the no-hitter bringing his record to 15-6 with a 3.48 ERA on the season.

Yes, a Merry Christmas from Montreal lol. Even more fitting that he was a Expo to start his career. Montreal cannot be too bitter, he's one of ours. Congrats to the accomplishment.
