Congratulations on the Three-Peat!

Post by acnunnally »

Congratulations to Washington on a hard-fought victory in the World Series over a tough Montreal team in seven games! Baltimore beat out the WinShares in the regular season by one game (and held a significant in-season W-L advantage) and had an incredible 115 wins, but the 114-win Washington team bested Baltimore in six games in the ALCS. Montreal prevailed over Houston in five games after strong seasons by both teams of 109 and 105 wins, respectively.

The Washington dynasty will look to perpetuate itself next season against some likely retirements and declines. Will the WinShares have enough to hold off Baltimore and Boston (112 wins for third)? Will any other team in the AL be competitive at all? I predict an interesting 2048 in the NL...

Congrats again to all the playoff teams, and good luck to all next season!

Thanks, two tough teams and two tough series - congrats to both owners, BAL and MON, for their great seasons. BAL DOMINATED my team in the regular season so was a pleasant surprise just to make it through round 1.

Kudos to 5-time All Star starter Dick Neidlinger who did this in the two series vs. two excellent pitching staffs.

OPS OBP SLG ISO AVG
LCS 1.079 0.500 0.579 0.211 0.368
WS 1.154 0.500 0.654 0.231 0.423
Total 1.122 0.500 0.622 0.222 0.400

Looking forward to another competitive, fun season coming up. Here's hoping for some low off-season declines!

Congrats indeed!! Three in a row!!

And an incredibly tough A.L. race to get there, with not one, but THREE teams winning more than 110 games!!

Three-peat ...Three-PEAT.....THREEPEAT!!!!

I just hope we don't have to pay syndication fees to Pat Riley for saying Threepeat!! :-)

Congrats on winning 3 championships in a row ! That's a dynasty. Very tough to do with so many competitive teams. Good Luck in the upcoming season.
