I can barely beat the other teams on a level playing field but now ABE is jacking with me.

How is it possible that a backup OF starts this game at SS when my backup SS is healthy and rested?

The OF has never played SS and the backup SS/1B came in as a defensive replacement at the end of the game at 1B.

Yeah, the AI should be smarter in that situation.

Looks like since Conwell switched to 2B, it likely only reads his primary position (2B). This is a flaw that should have been fixed years ago but hasn't. I've seen similar things happen with Catchers that gain eligibility at another position, but yet get passed up for a 1st Baseman as an emergency C start. You would think the AI would be smart enough to select a player with SS eligibility, but I don't think it's programmed to notice the secondary positions. It's why when you see a tired DynastyBot team, ABE will put guys all over the place.

Only advice I can offer is the easiest/simplest: Set your Backups
