At Sim Dynasty, we have a few special league types to offer an additional challenge to those who have mastered the basic game. One of those leagues is the Orlando Cepeda League.
The Orlando Cepeda League is a unique two-level league, a pair of leagues arranged into a Majors level (24 teams) and a AAA level (16 teams). The top teams in AAA each season move up to the Majors while the bottom teams in the Majors drop to AAA. This complicates the usual teardown/rebuild cycle because owners that blow up their teams to rebuild risk dropping to the lower level. It's a different challenge from the everyday league.
The OCL has 8 openings right now; because of that, I am holding the draft for new owners to get in. The cost to join the league is $12 for three months; however, if you join before the draft runs, you will get 2 additional months free! (All existing OCL owners in both levels will also get 2 additional months credit). That is $2.40 per month for 5 months of some of the most unique action on the site!
Want to get in on the action? Head over to http://www.simdynasty.com/privateavailable.jsp and purchase a team in the Orlando Cepeda League The draft is going to run by the end of the weekend, so don't delay!

Re: Openings in the Orlando Cepeda League
I've attempted contacting the Commish for this league, since a password is required to buy the team. I never received a response, and the lack of owners kept me from trying any kind of follow-up.

Surprised by that. It's a great league with competitive and active owners. Trying to add more owners to keep the unique set-up of majors/AAA relagations even possibly bring back the AA or A single leagues as well (if enough new owners join). Trying to pull other owners from partially filled leagues and get them into a more unique and historical league.
I'm sure the Commish (CaseyStengel) would enjoy hearing from you and your interest in our league.

Interesting... I checked my messages inbox and found the first message I received from joepiker was on 10/28/22 at 5:53 PM. I responded with a password on 10/28/22 at 6:30 PM.
I got a heads-up from ttreese on 10/27/22 at 11:55 pm that joepiker was interested in buying a team. I sent a message to joepiker on 10/27/22 at 11:55 pm asking him which team he was interested in. His response came the next day (10/28/22).
The moral of this story is that it is much better to message me directly instead of posting on a Message Board. I check my inbox often, not so much Message Board postings.
