I truly cannot believe that Tomanek has not gotten a few more votes, except for the last 3 seasons, he was a very good pitcher, Top 5 in: GS,IP and K's
Top 15 in W,GC, and SHO's.

You have to consider that Tomanek while retired in the top 15 will he be there in 20 years? or 50? He may very well pass the test of time but 220+ wins is not hard to come by if you win 15 games on average for 15 years. I feel that since we are a young league we need to consider the future. Our first ten years produced some interesting numbers we will get more dominate players in the future. The Bar needs to be high otherwise the HOF becomes the Hall of Very good.

His last three seasons, losing 20+ hurt him.
Remove those last 3 seasons, is Tomanek a HOF'er?

No because he was not dominate in ERA or WHIP or Cy Youngs. He was very good until he reached the point of being a Long man and continuing starting. Misuse by owner in the later years hurt his HOF cred but he was not dominate.
