This may seem like a silly question

But what determines how often your quarterback gets sacked?

Is it totally the pass blocking of your linemen?
Is it dependent upon how many times you pass per game?
Does it depend if you throw more long passes (so your qb is in the pocket longer)?

it is a combination of all that and the quality of the defense you face. A bad team that gets a hot defensive end and can sack the best teams QB. just depends.
