So a few months back I suggested setting up a hall of fame for the league, I think we're at a point where we can go for it. I'd be happy to serve as the HOF Commissioner, but if someone else is interested we can figure it out.
I'd suggest the following criteria for HOF consideration:
1. At least one All-Star appearance
2. 1500 hits or 200 HR for batters
3. 100 wins or 150 saves for pitchers.
Voting would be open for a set number of days (3? 4?) with 75% of those voting to induct. 25% or less gets removal from consideration.
The first go-around, I'd say ppl could vote for up to 10 players, after that 5 per season.
Thoughts?

Re: Hall of Fame
I would be happy to have you take on that job. Suggestions and comments regarding requirements?
Re: Hall of Fame
I might also suggest auto HOF for anyone with 3,000 hits, 500 HR, 300 Wins or 500 Saves. Why bother voting when we know they'll get in
Re: Hall of Fame
I am HOF commissioner in another league, so I'm happy to have you run this one.
I'd highly recommend a ballot limit. A player gets 5 years on the ballot, if they do not get 75% after 5 trys (or some other amount), they get taken off the ballot. If you don't do this, you end up with some guys that get 40% every year clogging up the ballot.

Re: Hall of Fame
I'd suggest making it a MUCH higher standard than 200 HR. Every league I'm in the Hall got clogged quite quickly.
I personally see it as consideration/automatic:
400/500 HR
2500/3000 Hits
250/300 Wins
400/500 Saves
And maybe a veteran's Class for those who started old and could have extrapolated into Hall numbers had they started younger.
EDITED: I see you were saying for consideration. My suggestions were exactly on par with yours for auto inclusion.

Is there anyone who would disagree that they would belong?
Leonard, can you put me in as the Hall of Fame commissioner?
