Louisville has moved to Baton Rouge

After an exhaustive search by the Jedi Council and no leprechauns could be found, management has made a decision to move the team from Louisville to Baton Rouge. They have also hired the Jedi Council to manage the team and the first order of business was a name change from Leprechauns to Jedi. This change will start a new era and the first decision was to draft a new QB to lead the team. So with the first pick of the 2020 FHFL Draft the Jedi selected a young QB out of Technical College of Texas named Obi Wan-Kenobi. He was no secret to the world and especially not to the Jedi Council as they have had him in their sights (and training facilities) for years. The team also drafted a few more players with Jedi roots:
2nd - LB BB-Eight
3rd - S Anakin Skywalker
3rd - CB Yoda
4th WR Padme Amidala
4th - RB Qui Gon-Jinn
4th WR Mon Mothma
5th P Luminara Unduli
6th K Shaak Ti

The Jedi Council were busy on draft day and believe that this first draft is the nucleus of a future winning team. In addition several trades were made and the team will look much different going forward. However management understands that with so much change, there will be rocky times ahead so expectations are even keeled heading into the 2020 season. Management has been given the assurance that "This team will be a playoff contender within two to three seasons" by the Jedi Council.
