Stretch Run

Post by Goodison »

Good luck to the American Conference teams as the regular season is reaching its crescendo. I’m thinking I might need to win out in order to secure a wildcard spot. An 11 win team will miss out this year.

This is by far the most competitive high quality league I’ve been a part of.

Its nuts. There are about 11 playoff quality teams in the AC and 5 of them are gonna miss out. I'm just glad I'm 4-0 in my division right now, that's really going to make a difference down the stretch.

Looking at schedules, it seems Cleveland and San Jose are the likely 5 and 6 seeds, respectively.

Looking at my schedule and the way my offense is so discombobulated I have no idea how I am 9-2 rn. I guess its my D. They scored half my points today lol

I feel some level of vindication knowing that Lynn Nydall hasn't changed even though Pittsburgh's coaching and the rest of their roster is preventing it from sinking the ship whereas I had no choice but to totally abandon ship because he had almost this is exact stat line (when you estimate where Nydall will end his season based on his current trajectory).

Ever since I accidentally waived him it's like he's "marked" ever since. Hard to believe this man once threw for 42 TDs in one season.

Yeah you were right lum. I hope it irons out within the next season or two. He seemed perfectly fine in the 2 games he played for us last year, which is strange

He also followed the same exact pattern he had for me for the past two seasons ever since I waived him. He starts out really hot throwing 4 TD games and whatnot and then as the season wears on, he becomes a goof. It's almost like these simulated players have character traits
