No one to blame

Post by tworoosters »

So late last night I was messing around with some draft projections and forgot to revert to my rankings.

The results are, quite frankly, weird and a bit sad.

I had Long (the hitter) at #2 in my rankings and you got him at 5. The B+/D pitcher that you drafted at 21, I had him ranked at 21. An interesting draft for sure!

I had Long 3 just behind Kavanaugh (might have overvalued the health and speed) and Ferrazi pretty high too - just below Rios who I got ahead 1 pick ahead of him because of the better control and better bundle.

Definitely some an interesting draft though - I find that the combination of the lottery moving teams up or down so it's not always people looking mostly at the long term in the draft and the presence of the older guys like Asada and Chitlins makes for some interesting results sometimes.

After looking at the way the draft went I'm not quite so angry at myself, had I left it I would have had Asada but maybe this is ABE's way of telling me to go slow.
