I love this! Obradovich is the full time closer for probably the rest of his career here. Alexander would be the catcher already were it not for Kent being here. May still make the change next season to get some new blood in.

First off this is pretty awesome.
I'm pretty sure of 3 things:
1. Brooklyn has 2 players on your list Patton (SP) and Hernaiz (OF/1B)
2. It's pathetic that I've been rebuilding since I got here and only have 2 guys on this list
3. The catcher in this league are brutal but I'd like to submit Ben Flack as another candidate - http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?pl ... d=12555574

but mostly just to bump my numbers of players on the list up to 3 :D

LA's 25 under 25 list makers update

Post by tworoosters »

So, for now at least, McCarthy is staying at 3B and has raised his defensive level from terrible to just below average while continuing to be very good offensively.

It's early in the season, June 1st in the sim as of this writing, but so far Milbarge has been encouraging at the plate with a slash of .287/.359/.389 and, as expected, pretty poor in the field . Milbarge is currently at the top of the NL Rookie of the year balloting with a narrow lead over Brooklyn's Buck Sims who was not selected for last year's "25 under 25" list while a member of the Atlanta organization.

Yes Buck Sims has remarked to more than one reporter that he is using this slight to fuel his career. Buck has indicated that he's "thankful that Brooklyn made the deal to give me an opportunity to show what I can do. I find extra motivation in trying to prove people wrong".

Hell hath no fury like a simulated baseball player named Buck. Good to see he's using the slight to fuel his hate fire.

Looks like it should be a good ROY race. Milbarge got a head start but Buck's health rating and the extra counting stats that enables should carry him if they stay close together in rate stats, though I have a hard time believing Sims will continue to hit LHP at a .321/.390/.453 clip with his B+/B rating vs LHP.

Hopefully it will be a good ROY race but I would appreciate you not talking on the message boards about my players, I have no desire to tempt ABE, the great and powerful, most awesome facilitator of this terrific game.

Very enjoyable to catch up with these guys--thanks for collecting, Mac! Proud to have drafted or had on my team many of these guys over the years, but bummed that they didn't bring Seattle our first WS. The hunt continues!
