de Santis first to 20 wins

Post by tworoosters »

Pablo de Santis went 6 2/3 innings, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits and a walk in LA's 5-2 win over St Louis to become the BHL's first 20 game winner of the 2116 season. It's the second time in his six seasons as a full time starter that de Santis has reached the 20 win plateau as he also turned the trick in 2113. It hasn't been a dominant year for the 30 year old right handed as his ERA is his worst in six years but he continues to have a knack for winning ball games.

Since becoming a full time starter in 2111 de Santis has a record of 102-31, an insane winning % of .767 . Despite an average season of 17-5 with an ERA of 3.32 and a WHIP of 1.15 de Santis has only been selected to the All Star team once, though he appears on track for another selection this season

Congrats to Pablo. LAN has finished the season strong. I'm kind of glad that none of the AL teams stepped up with trades at the deadline.

Apparently nobody in the AL wanted to win the wild card. My only interaction was with the two NL teams ahead of me.
