Scoreless streak snapped (Again)

Post by tworoosters »

Marvin McCray gave up a run in the Miracles 4-2 win over Atlanta. It was the first run he had surrendered this season snapping a 14 game 20 inning scoreless streak.

During the 14 game streak McCray was 1-0 with 6 saves in 6 opportunities, he surrendered only 11 base runners in 20 innings and struck out 20 batters while walking only 3.

Atlanta finally did something... even with breaking your streak, i still went 0-6 for the day and lost 7 straight now... back to a replay of last season. lol

Marvin McCray just had another, even longer, scoreless streak snapped, again by Atlanta, when he gave up the winning run in the bottom of the ninth in this game.

Prior to this McCray hadn't given up a run since game #3 of the season, a span of 16 appearances and 23 1/3 innings.

At what point does the organization rethink the employment of the guy who keeps pitching him against Atlanta?
