Cycle for Cody (Again)

Post by tworoosters »

Miracles rookie catcher Carl Cody is having a nice rookie campaign and he had a particularly big day on April 30th in LA's 7-3 win over Atlanta, going 4-5 with 4 runs scored and a pair of RBI while hitting for the cycle.

Cody hit the cycle in order, single, out, double, triple and finally a solo homer in the ninth. The sim doesn't track cycles but I try and look for them and this is the first one I've seen an LA player hit in at least 10 seasons.

It's always cool to see it done in order.

It's also cool to see a guy with C+ speed hit a triple :o

Another cycle for Cody

Post by tworoosters »

Quite amazingly Carl Cody has hit for the cycle again, this time part of a 6/6 game against San Diego.

Cody now has hit 3 triples in his brief career, and on two of those occasions has hit for the cycle. By contrast Reb McCarthy is the Miracles' all time leader in triples with 71 and has never hit for the cycle.
