2,000 for Reb

Not quite up to Lovett's calibre but Reb McCarthy singled in the 5th inning of Game #65 to pick up his 2,000th hit.

McCarthy becomes only the second player in Los Angeles team history to reach the 2,000 hit mark and currently trails all time leader Matt Gereghty by 192 hits. Despite suffering nominal declines in his first OS34 season McCarthy appears to have "Miracle flu" this year as he is currently posting the worst numbers since his rookie year
