NL Predictioms

Post by JTMoney »

8. Cincinnati Raptors Owner: Weaver
The total rebuild continues and Weaver will finish right where he wants to dead last and its not even close...he continues the overhaul with a fine young ss prospect Orestes Ledesma,

7. Colorado C-Sox Owner: Husker48
Colorado gets the spot because they may move a few vets like Mcmannas but there is a future lead by Almora and Ripe but pitching will be needed before this overhaul will have any legs. Will Baez be there for the long haul or used to get the pieces..Puj0ls could be rookie of year candidate;

6. Arizona Rattlers Owner: Owner: CT_Eagle
I have no doubt that AZ will again be overly optimistic about their pitching but I am seeing signs of improvement and the pitching pool getting better with Ricci coming up through the minors and Sherry set to make his major league debut sometime this season, Solly Jones continues to improve and is loaded with upside other solid contributors are Nagy and Eckert, if pitching over performs could finish 5th but cant see no higher.

5.Milwaukee FansOwner: dunn_acolyte
Milwaukee comes in at 5 with some really solid starting pitching including Pat Palmisano and others. This team in normal circumstances could probably make a run with a few deals giving up some prospects to fill the gaps in the offense but the NL is stacked at the top and im afraid as is this is a 500 team at best and will have to settle for 5 unless Miami bails and opts for the rebuild.

4. Miami A TeamOwner: mrtwolf
Miami is a really good team but doesnt seem to quite meet up to expectations maybe because the NL is now loaded at the top but this team could muster some magic and finish second but is more likely to finish in 4th which every owner hates. Lead by veterans Hornsby and Moriarty and possibly the best catcher in baseball in McCallister but pitching aging and looking suspect a rebuild may be looming as no owner likes to finish middle of the pack

3. Philly
Have to leave Philly in the 3 hole till they climb out...there is reason to believe they can with youngsters 2b Metvier and Alanson but it will be the vets like Mullet and Matsui that could get them over the edge as they have no worries with pitching lead by Pless and Manning

2. New York
We will go with the Nation at 2 for same reason we left Philly at 3, to be the man you got to beat the man and until notified Atlanta is the man. But if the pitching is as good as it looks it goes from a question mark to a strength with Darnold and JR Showing improvement. Vaughn improved at 3rd and how good can Mantle be. Cheddar Bob is as consistent as a player can be, can New York follow his lead

1. Atlanta

Is still the man in the NL, his post season frustrations shouldn't keep them from making the playoffs but it could be in the 1 r the 2 slot as New York and Philly nipped at there heels on season long last year. Marenville leads a very strong starting staff the pen has cracks but is not really called upon for heavy lifting ….Purnal continues his assault on he NL and Woodie Taylor adds excitement as well, a few guys are getting a little stiffer but with Purnal and the pitching should be enough to get them back to postseason what happens there is another story

Great write up again. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.

The NL is really tough right now and Ari is still a couple of seasons away so I will be a spectator agains this year.

Best of luck to everyone.

Very competitive right now I always say this game is about opportunity and sometimes when its really competitive at the top its not a bad thing to be in rebuild mode
