Wade Sets All Time League Batting Average For A Season

Why was he not considered as an MVP candidate ? TY

It is the best single season batting average the league has seen, with the previous record being .380.

Last year, Wade was ranked 8th in total hits, but no where near the top 20 in runs, rbi.

All 5 candidates had 20 more runs and 20 more rbi than Wade. 4 of the top 5 candidates hit over .300 last year.

Its rare (if ever), for the top 5 in the MVP to not have reached 100 in runs or in RBI.
