Potential All Time records that could fall this year

Post by wolfwood83 »

I thought I would throw out a post so you all would be aware of some records that are very close to falling after this season! Some of these records have stood for quite some time.

*as of this posting

Runs
1- Brad Nowell ret 1989, 1594
*2- Yuri Zakarov, 1571

Doubles
1- Brad Nowell 478
*2- Jon Oliva 461
*3- Yuri Zakarov 457

Triples
1- Brad Nowell 118
2- Showboat Flowers ret 1998, 113
3- Arian Giovanni ret 1995. 112
*4- Dave Flint 105
*5- Jon Oliva 103

Strike outs (hitter)
1- Max Cavalera ret 1988, 2253
*2- Petan Jensen 2198

Games (pitcher)
1- Paul Perry ret 1990, 1216
*2- Charlie Plasted, 1182

In other All Time Record News, the All time Walks record that was broken 2 years ago by Bobby Kiecker has a chance to get broken again by Jon Oliva as early as next season. The Hits record, which has stood since 1987, could be broken next season if things go well for a certain Russian named Yuri.

The all time Losses record could be challenged in 2 years, as well as Games Started (P), innings pitched, strikeouts (P), as well as Hits Allowed. All of this could be done by one player, John Voss.
