300 in Style

Post by bigamusk »

A year after setting the league record for most consecutive seasons with 20 wins, at 12, Kinsella got his 300th win by pitching a shutout. He may not be the greatest pitcher in league history, but he should be on the short list.

Outstanding career. Definitely somewhere in the top five.

He is special. 6 Cy Young awards are nothing to sneeze at either. I agree with Hitrun, Top 5 all time and that is saying something because we have had some good ones here. :D

His 301-120 won lost record is pretty darn good as well. Really good, as a matter of fact.

After scrolling through our all time league leaders in wins I noticed we have had quite a few great pitchers in our league history. Kinsella was our 24th 300 game winner. As far as ERA goes he currently sits at number five. As far as ranking him in the top five its all a matter of individual judgement. I consider a pitchers ERA a very important consideration as well as wins total. If anyone wants to make their own top ten all time pitcher pitcher list feel free to so.
