Whatever happened to the class of 2046?

Post by docstop »

It's been almost 100 seasons since the greatest draft class in the history of the TML

Gaavy Craghead -- Three time Cy Young award winner with Philly/NYA. Won a total of 274 games including a 27-3 season.
Fuzzy Feldman - His 244-116 record is one of the best winning percentages of all time. One time Cy Young award winner, his 6-1 record in the world series is the all time best (approached only by Tampa Bay's Dave Hollander who has a 7-2 record in the WS).
Mike Heard - 267 game winner who played his entire career for LA.
Axel Rodney - 229 game winner who played mostly for Philadelphia.
John Gilbert - Arguably the greatest shortstop to ever play the game, Gilbert was a 6 time MVP who led the league in hitting 4 times and finished his career with 3287 hits.
Ernie Jones - Three time MVP who finished with 425 home runs, split his career between Minnesota and LA.
Jake Kent - 7 time gold glove award winner at 1B, he committed only 37 errors in 1713 games.

Four 200+ game winners, a spectacular shortstop, a slugging outfielder and a slick fielding first baseman...all in the same draft.
