Chicago Fire!

They say the 16th year is the charm; kind of... After 16 seasons of ownership, the Chicago Fire have finally broken through and claimed their first Championship under new management and 6th overall within the franchise. While the Fire have been getting closer having made playoffs last 6 years and made World Series two years ago; so happy to finally get over the hump. It's been a challenge with tough competition from both the AL and NL; specifically the Arizona Sand Snakes and Montreal Elites in the NL and Cleveland franchise in the AL (team developed previously under ccox ownership).

Looking forward to trying to retain the title; but am gonna enjoy this one for a bit...

That 1st one is always the sweetest and you've been building toward it meticulously for 16 seasons so feel free to enjoy!

You've got yourself a heckuva squad that doesn't look like it's going anywhere any time soon.


I'm looking forward to taking some shots at dethroning them in the very near future. I'm sure a few other owners feel the same way so take care to be equally meticulous in planning your title defense!
