An impressive feat for any game, let alone in the playoffs.

Not to sound vengeful or anything(although I am admittedly salty) but he proceeded to follow that effort up by allowing hits(2 2Bs, 1 1B) to the first 3 batters of Game 5. I guess the Sand Snakes were determined to set the tone early the second time around after being embarrassed by a great pitcher.

True! Y'all got to Woods in game 5 early but the loss really fell on our relievers; they didnt hold the lead. Losing SP Wendell due to injury didnt help but it's all part of it. Great series and congrats on the NLCS win. Fire got a taste of the playoffs and now focused on reaching and winning the WS next year. Was really hoping to get a shot at Cleveland before owner CCox retires/leaves the league. Amazing success there in Cleveland and have learned a lot from a number of people in this league. Good luck in the WS! Bring it home to the NL.
