Big Unit's first ring

Post by DwightKSchrute »

The Big Unit was on the mound as the River Bandits took the title. He fell short of his 6th consecutive Cy Young award due to a tough luck season. When asked about missing the awards Unit said, "I'm always playing for the championship."

Several starters brought to via trade the River Bandits got their first rings; including WS MVP Masato Matsuzaki who was in his first ever postseason but blasted 4 HRs over the series.

The aging core of the River Bandits will be going into the 2190 campaign with their eyes on "one for the thumb".

I'm guessing they didn't preserve the filters in the move.
