He's having an unbelievable career so far. By the end of it, he may very well end up being the best ever. Unless he gets popped for Sim PEDs.

I hadn't posted anything about him because I didn't want ABE to smack him with the injury bug or something. But I believe at this point, he is the greatest player I've ever had, and maybe ever seen. Adam Bono is the league leader in career homeruns with 723. If Williams got hurt right now and missed the rest of the season, he'd have a stat line of 394/1410/.325 in his age 29 season. Adam Bono had 402/1470/.284 in his age 29 season, however he played 11 seasons while Williams is at 10 1/2. So they are very close but Bono had longevity on his side. We'll see how it shakes out, but it's something I'll be watching closely in the coming seasons.

On second thought, LucasTheBoss is right....Corvus Williams had the best individual season ever. He set single season records for Hits(249), Doubles(58), SLG(.727), OPS(1.181), Avg(.388), and tied records for RBI(184) and OBP(.454)....all this on his way to winning a triple crown. Unbelievable....

Adding to his legend this year, Corvus also hit grand slams in 3 straight games...the NLCS Games 5 and 6 and Game 1 of the World Series.
